Lakeside F1 Spinach seed Missouri Only

25-30 daysThis great spinach has excellent disease resistance and is a favorite. Itreaches up to 16″ high and is mildly flavored, smooth leaved and is well worth planting.
 
Prefers mild and cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost or late summer/early fall (mulch plants heavily for early spring crop).For baby leaf, sow seeds in a 2-4" wide band, 3/4" apart, 1/2" deep. Harvest at desired maturity. Sow seeds every 1-2 weeks for continuous harvest. Otherwise thin to 4-6" apart in rows 18-24" apart.
 
Average seed packet about 50 seeds. Typically you want about 30 plants per person.
